Making clients happy

We work really hard to make our clients happy and were delighted to receive a glowing recommendation from our friends at 2 More Heads this week. Mission accomplished.

I worked with Flock on branding for my new company (an online concept store) and I can highly recommend working with them. We were really fussy and particular clients and Sophie listened to what we said and interpreted it really well and produced some exciting ideas. She was more than happy to work with us and we all came up with a really strong logo. I was really impressed with the service, the timings and the friendly and professional approach that Sophie and her team took. I wouldn’t use anyone else for branding and design and I look forward to working with Flock again in the future.

Introducing Macaringues

We were delighted to work with our friends at Lees by creating packaging for their new product, Macaringues. A meringue-macaron hybrid, it’s an exciting addition to the already extensive Lees range.

We collaborated with the Edinburgh based illustrator Liv Wan to bring the product to life.

Here’s a sneak peak at our latest piece of packaging design for Lees of Scotland. We worked with Edinburgh based illustrator Liv Wan, incorporating her sweet (groan) product illustrations into our playful design.

It’s more fun at the zoo

They say you should never work with children or animals. Well, we were relying on both (not to mention the Scottish weather!) in our latest TV shoot for RZSS Edinburgh Zoo’s summer campaign, in partnership with Tanami.

Thankfully, all three were on top form and we got up close with snakes, meerkats, tigers, and sun bears with a very excited family to really emphasise the experiential and fun qualities of a day out at the zoo.  (more…)


Eats dull days

The RZSS Highland Wildlife Park specialises in Scottish species and other cold weather adapted animals from around the world. It is only 7 miles from Aviemore and covers an impressive 200 acres, set in the majestic Cairngorms National Park in the heart of the Scottish Highlands.

It is a popular destination for Highland locals and tourists during peak times, however, our aim with this campaign was to increase footfall and create (more…)

Strategic thinking

We speak with a lot of businesses. And it’s still surprising how many underestimate the value of thinking strategically when it comes to their marketing activity.

Marketing strategy can be seen as the less ‘sexy’ sibling of advertising and design, but not to us, we know its importance is monumental for making this more ‘exciting’ activity actually effective. Here are 5 reasons why strategy shouldn’t be ignored.  (more…)


Aiming higher

The Marketing Society is an exclusive network of senior marketers who have become one of the most influential drivers of marketing in the world.  In Scotland they hold their annual Star Awards ceremony to celebrate the best work in the Scottish industry, and for the last 11 years a new campaign has been created each time to promote it.

By hand and by heart

Glenturret is Scotland’s oldest working distillery, where whisky is crafted with the same traditional methods used 100 years ago; hand mashed by just 5 pairs of hands.

As well as designing a range of their whisky packaging in the past, we recently developed a brand platform for the distillery from which to base all of their communications around, including packaging, and as a result were thrilled to be asked to design their brand new single malt core range.
