As Scotland's only independent building society with its origins dating back March 1848, the Scottish Building Society offers a range of savings and mortgage products designed to allow members to save for the future and realise the dream of owning a home. With a vision to remain Scottish, independent and mutual they provide a first class service and quality products for all its members.
Create and execute a multi-channel campaign to drive savings applications for the Scottish Building Society enabling it to achieve its growth targets.
WHAT WE DID
The key challenge was creating a concept for TV advertising that could be produced during the countrywide Covid-19 lockdown. Initially we focused on a Loyalty Cash ISA product that provided customers with higher rates of interest the longer they saved, but also developed concepts that would provide a platform to deliver a more general savings message too.
Interest rates for savings accounts can often change over time which can be frustrating for customers but the Scottish Building Society rewards loyalty. We brought this to life using the simple metaphor of trying to find a comfortable chair. Delivered across TV, social media and in store the campaign reflected the brand’s personality and values - friendly professional service delivered in a clear, straightforward and cost effective manner with integrity and transparency.
