The Gannochy Trust - Brand clarity

Refreshing the brand

BACKGROUND

The Gannochy Trust was founded in 1937 by Scottish businessman and philanthropist Arthur Kinmond Bell, known as A K Bell. The Trust was formed to improve the quality of community life in Perth and Kinross, and for people across Scotland.

OBJECTIVE

To create a consistent look and feel for The Gannochy Trust brand and a set of accompanying guidelines.

WHAT WE DID

After reviewing the existing communications materials, we made a series of recommendations which then informed our design process, this included a subtle refresh of the logo. We developed a friendly and accessible look and feel for the brand which spanned everything from typeface and colours to layout recommendations and tone of voice. This fed into a comprehensive set of guidelines, aiding others to use the brand assets consistently.

RESULTS

"Flock have been helping The Gannochy Trust across a number of communications projects including developing a set of brand guidelines, a new signage solution and leaflets for the estate. They have approached the work with a high level of professionalism coupled with a relaxed and friendly approach which has made the experience of working with them both productive and enjoyable. They work hard, are great value and really care about what they do for their clients, which is apparent in the high quality of work which they produce. We very much look forward to continuing our work with Flock in the coming weeks and months as we develop our communications channels with them. We would highly recommend Justin, Sophie and the team."
